As a pet owner, you have the special responsibility of making aftercare choices on your pet’s behalf. Working together with your veterinary clinic, we will gently guide you through the process of making cremation arrangements that are fitting for you and your pet.

Private cremation provides you with the opportunity to keep your pet’s cremated remains as a permanent and personal keepsake. When you choose private pet cremation, including dog or cat cremation, your treasured pet will be the only pet in the cremation chamber during the cremation process. Precious Pets holds the distinctive honor of having the first human crematory purchased exclusively for the use of pets in Oklahoma, proving that from day one we continue to provide state-of-the-art equipment and facilities. This ensures that you receive only the cremated remains of your pet in a shorter amount of time. Your beloved pet’s cremated remains will be returned in your selected urn, along with a certificate of cremation, authenticating that your pet was cremated at Precious Pets Cemetery.

Our Memorial Products and custom urns are available for privately cremated cats, dogs, and other pets, reflecting the life you shared with your pet, your personal style, or possibly even your pet’s unique personality.

Our peaceful facility also offers a dignified and peaceful setting for family members to say goodbye to your pet in a loving and soothing manner. Private cremation can be attended in the comfort of our serene and beautiful viewing room, while you are being supported by our caring support staff. This offers you the time for reflection, contemplation, or to just simply pay your respects and say your goodbyes. The amount of time and what you witness is completely up to you. You can just say goodbye to your pet one last time, or if you prefer, you can witness your pet being lovingly placed in the cremation chamber. Many clients opt for this, as it gives them closure and reassurance, others prefer to have a viewing of their beloved pet and then leave before the cremation process is actually started. Our staff is there the entire time to assist in making this time as trauma free and easy as possible.  If needed, one of our professional Transportation Specialists will pick up your pet from your veterinarian’s clinic or your home, and will bring your pet to the crematory where we will hold your pet in our mortuary cooler until the viewing appointment. We need to schedule an appointment to ensure you have the appropriate private time with your pet for a final goodbye.

Keeping the memory of your pet close to your heart, a communal cremation offers both peace of mind and solace. With communal cremation, your pet is gently placed into the crematory together with other pets. When you choose communal cremation, you can feel assured that your pet is still handled with compassion and respect. A portion of each communal cremations remains is lovingly placed in our beautiful granite Ossuary, a place of rest and reflection for families who want respectful and dignified treatment of their pet’s remains, but who also do not wish to memorialize their pets by taking the cremains home. It offers a seating area to sit and mourn or to celebrate the life of beloved pets, at the same time giving peace of mind that your beloved pet is interred within. Memorial plates are available to purchase and are placed on the Ossuary permanently. The Ossuary sits on the tranquil grounds of our cemetery in Spencer, Oklahoma. Because no cremated remains are returned to you when you choose a communal cremation, you may wish to consider one of our personalized memorial products as a timeless remembrance. Paw Prints, Ink Prints, and Fur Clippings are available for communally cremated pets.
